At the Vineyard
Christian Fellowship of Greater
Portland we are committed to being
the hands and feet of Jesus Christ.
We believe
in providing help to those in need
within the body of Christ, the local
community and those experiencing
extreme hardship around the
world. The Vineyard leadership
believes that everyone has something
to offer and a part to play. We
encourage members to participate in
a ministry area that they are
passionate about and can commit
their time, energy and gifts.
We feel the heart of God is revealed
to us in James 1:27a, paraphrased by
Eugene Peterson: "Real religion, the
kind that passes muster before God
the Father, is this: Reach out to
the homeless and loveless in their
plight" |

The
Food Pantry, operating under the
Mercy Ministry, is currently offering groceries
weekly – fresh, frozen, and canned,
as well as USDA commodities to
members and people in the community
who are in need.

Pickup and Distribution Schedule
At this point we
are scheduling 4 months at a time.
We truly appreciate everyone who
helps on a regular basis. If you
want to be involved in either of
these areas please feel free to
contact us at
officevineyard@maine.rr.com. These schedules
will show who is helping on what
days.

COMING SOON!!
Keep
yours eyes and ears open!
During the first quarter ’08 we are
going to be starting an
“Item of the
month club”! We will have a
collection box in the lobby so
everyone can be involved each week
by dropping off requested items. We
want everyone to have the
opportunity to be blessed by helping
others.
We invite you to check us out and be blessed
by serving others through the Mercy
Ministry at Vineyard Christian
Fellowship. It is our passionate
desire to make Christ’s love a
reality to those to whom we
minister. |
